REHABILITATION CENTRES

 

The simple rationale for the establishment of rehabilitation centers for these classes of people in our society is to create the needed synergy between the Government and the many practitioners to have a harmonized template for the purposeful rehabilitation (as well as the sharing of success stories) of these rehabilitated cases.

 
 

MODEL OF OUR REHABILITATION CENTRES

 
SWADAA is committed to working with relevant stakeholders to improve the entire architecture of the treatment and remedy process in such a way that everyone wins: The Government, the society, the family and the affected individual.
 
To this end, we hereby propose a Centre modeled along the line of:
 
 
  1. Sensitization
  2. Skill acquisition
  3. Re-integration
  4. Adjustment
  5. Enterprise development Activities.

Some of the activities to be sited at the Centre’s may include (but not limited to):

  1.  Sewing work
  2. Soap making
  3. Carpentry
  4. ICT
  5. Welding/ironworks
  6. Leatherworks/upholstery
  7. Masonry
  8. Plumbing works
  9. hairdressing
  10. one regional trade.
 In addition, the Centre will have a comprehensive outlook, where events can be organized and hosted within the premises (multipurpose auditorium), repairsof items can be done internally(maintenance), storage zone, waste disposal zone, etc.
